Earl Anderson, all of Menomonie route 5, were united in marriage by the Rev. Ernest J. Moen in a double ring ceremony Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore embroidered nylon tulle over net and taffeta. The fitted bodice was made with a scalloped neckline and long tapered sleeves. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white feather carnations. Miss Frances Wagner, sister of! the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Betty Anderson, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid.

They wore red princess style street length dresses. Judy Moen was flower girl and Michael Stouff, ring bearer, Thomas Trainor was best man and Robert Jenson, groomsmen. Max Kuehn, Barron. The double ring ceremony was performed at 8 p.m. by the Rev. Loyal Schroeder. The bride who was given in marriage by her father chose taffeta floor length gown with Sabrina lace neckline with sequin trim.

The scalloped lace band over skirt was also sequin trimmed. A Half hat in rosepoint lace with trim held her fingertip hand rolled silk illusion veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, stephanotis and ivy. Miss Wilma Schwoch was maid of honor and Miss Agnes Krause, bridesmaid. They were gowned Copen blue nylon sheer, ballerina length, with gauntlets to match.

Their romance blue hats matched their slippers, Their bouquets were of light pink and white asters. The groom was attended by! Bud Krause and Bob Richter. Ushers were Bud Krause and James Kallenbach. After a wedding trip to ern Wisconsin the couple will reside at Barron where the groom is employed. For traveling the bride wore a medium blue blouson sheath dress with black sories and a red rose corsage.

OBITUARY Elsie I L. Schellinger Elsie L. Schellinger, the daughter of Daniel and Bertha Muesterman Schillinger, was born Jan. 6, 1892. near Plymouth, Sheboygan County, Wis.

In Nov. 1907, the family moved to a farm north of Downing, where she lived the remainder of her life. She died Wednesday morning. Oct. 8, at the Amery Memorial hospital, where she had been patient since July 21.

Her parents and one. sister, Ruth, preceded her in death. She is survived by four sisters: Mrs. H. C.

Dierks (Leona), Ranchester, Mrs. Leo Drinkman (Albertha), Downing; Nora and Esther, at home; three nieces: four nephews; three aunts and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Camp Funeral Home in Glenwood City, the Rev. J.

Chris Everson officiating. Interment was in the Glenwood City cemetery, Pallbearers were Marlette, Bert Stoner, Anton Smith, Herbert Drinkman, Dennis Piekard and Paul Bartz. Mrs. Hattie Lemier Mrs. Hattie Lemler, 66, died at her home in Menomonie Tuesday morning, Oct.

Visiting passed the afternoon with coffee being served before the well-wishers departed for home. Miss Blair was presented with many nice birthday gifts together with for many more happy birthdays.

DAV Auxiliary Head Visits Tri-Co. Group Rosalie Jacob, DAV Auxiliary Commander, made her official visit to the Menomonie Auxiliary of the Tri County Disabled American Veterans Tuesday, Oct. 7. Special meeting was held at the home of the Auxiliary's Commander Irma Maier. Fourth District Commander Ann Kastroff was also a guest at this meeting.

Commander Jacob spoke the Unit on her trip to the National Convention in August. She asked that the Unit keep its islative program very active year. She also asked that the Unit read and study the new constitution and bylaws that have many changes this year. Commander Jacob also reported that the annual service officers school will be held in Milwaukee, Nov. 8-89, with the ladies meeting at the Kaiser Knickerbocker Hotel at 10 a.m.

Reservations are to be made direct to the hotel for rooms, and for the banquet to John Richling, 342 North Water Street, Milwaukee. Visiting Travel Mrs. Alice Jessup, Portage, is week with her daughter, Mrs. James Donaldson, and family, Mr. and Mrs.

Fred Siepert returned Wednesday to Kenosha after a visit at the home of his sister, Mrs. Robert Taufman. Mrs. Paul Young, Slayton, is a guest of Mrs. O.

C. Kausrud. She will be remembered as Alice Stenerson of Menomonie and lived here years ago. Mrs. Emma Bates, La Crosse, spent a few days last week with her niece, Miss Hattie Bates.

Mrs. W. A. Peloquin, children, Peggy, Patricia and John, who flew here from Escanaba, to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Ciraence Gregory, Indio, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Slaybaugh, Corpus Christi, arrived Sunday for visit with Dr. and Mrs.

C. T. Kyle, Mrs. Slaybough is a daughter of the Kyle's. Mr.

and Mrs. Forest Mewhorter, Columbia Heights, Minn. visited with her mother, Mrs. Cora Archer, on Sunday. Other guests over the week end were Mr.

and Mrs. Ray Welk, St. Paul. They also visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs.

Edward Welk, other relatives and friends and attended the anniversary service at the Church of the Nazarene, Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hight, nee Louise Gehrke, children, Susan and Tim. Milwaukee, spent the week end with Mrs.

Mrs. Don Hessel and sons took a bus that night for New York to be guests at her sister's home before returning to California. Mrs. Mary Sande, Chippewa Falls, is spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Otto Boetcher.

Back For Visit Miss Flora Dodge, Los Angeles, formerly of this city, was week-end guest of Miss Hazel Van Ness. Miss Rosalie Ofstie who teaches at Glenwood. spent the week end at the home of her mother, Mrs. Isaac Ofstie. Calendar of Events Oct.

Weddings Kadinger- Miss Ramona Kadinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Kadinger, 520 Wilson Menomonie, was married Sept. 27 at 9 a.m, to Gerald Messex at Immaculate Conception church. Waukegan, by the Rev.

0'- Brien. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Messex, 1717 Dodge, Waukegan. The double ring ceremony was used.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown was white, made with full skirt and train. The bodice and long sleeves were lace and there were lace inserts in the skirt with tulle skirt over satin. She wore a finger tip veil attached to seed pearl crown. Her flowers were Fuji mums and chrysanthemums.

Miss Diana Kadinger was maid of honor for her sister. She wore crayon green taffeta with a dark green cummerbund and sash bow. Her green shoes matched her feathered hat and she carried bronze and yellow mums in a colonial bouquet, Bernard J. Miller, brother-inlaw of the groom, was best man. The Olson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Clarence Thomas Clarence W. Thomas, 4044 Harriet Minneapolis, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 8. Mr.
